I love the flat, colorful style, and the gentler side of mystery (despite murder and things). Lola and Sissy feel like real friends, comfortably funny and casual with each other.

I loved this, it somehow balanced supernatural murder mystery with almost slapstick humor. The story unfolded organically, nothing in the plot felt too forced and the dialog was humorous while moving the plot along. Visually I love the vibrant full color panels that go all the way to the ends of the page and they style really grew on me. I am very much looking forward to volume 2.

very short, like wish this was quadruple the length and told more of the story and where this goes next, bc on its own it was very brief and clearly only the very beginning of a story, like just the set up. it was intruiging to me though! I would like to know what is happening and what all this weird creepy supernatural stuff is so I am tempted to keep up with this series as it comes out but I know I'll be waiting a long time for the eventual whole series to be finished. 
i thought the art style was cute, I liked seeing the outfits the girls wore, i enjoyed the bright colours. feel like I would've looked more detail though, could've fit a lot more story content in if the panels and text were smaller.
overall an enjoyable super speedy read but not that impactful on me, though would consider reading on!
