Beautiful watercolor illustrations and a sweet story about a young elephant learning to be himself. Not bad, not fabulous, just good.

Kidogo is very small - for an elephant. he is surrounded by mountains, plains, sky, and other animals that are all bigger than he is. So, he sets off on a journey to find a smaller animal.

Lovely illustrations and a sweet story without forced rhymes or any of those other things that tend to ruin picture books.
