That was the best third act of a mystery/thriller/whodunnit I have ever experienced.

ever.

The perfect snowed in/one of us is lying/dubious morals and motivations shitshow with the most beautiful culmination of events possible. How the author managed to intertwine easily like 9 different mysteries is beyond impressive- I understand now why it took 3 books to unravel and sort through. This book showed why physical media and anthropology is so crucial to every discipline. I feel euphoric? and also like I’ve just tripped on the safe side of a cliff’s edge. That was exhilarating and beautiful.

I finished the 8.5 hour audiobook in under 4 hours in literally one sitting because I needed to know how this ended. today.

Points hidden in a secret bunker underground for David being weird and cagey and confusing and also for the beginning being slow. Wishing we saw more of a few side characters/their stories were further flushed out before they were sent home but that’s not necessarily the reality of the storm at hand.

(the safety of cats is questioned once but all are miraculously fine and safe.)

Great end to the series. David still sucks, but this was the best book.

I zoomed through this thing. I wasn’t even caffeinated. Stevie is the single most accurate representation of anxiety I’ve ever read and I appreciate that.

A great way to close the multiples cases but also I do not trust it? does that make sense? wtv maybe I will feel the closure when I read the other ones, so far I like Stevie but her chose on love interest are...questionable

I am not sure I ship her with Nate but he is definitely a better option than David, he is not an unhinged idiot and they make more sense but maybe I am just protein bc I want the character that I feel is most like Ravi to be with the character that's most like Pip, I just want to reread agggtm but I already did this year and it is not healthy to do so again so here I am.

Why did I think Iris and Alice were sisters until more than halfway through the series…
