These are congregational dialogues about that Sunday's gospel readings held in the priest-author's church on the islands in Lake Nicaragua. The author is a famous poet and was Minister of Culture under the Sandinista regime.
The dialogues are devout, insightful, and based very directly on the islanders' lives and aspirations.
It's good occasional reading. You wouldn't want to read it straight through. The paperback includes some beautiful local art work.
