Loved, loved, loved this book! Such an important message, yet so sweet. I can't imagine what I'd do if it was me... It got me thinking a lot. And I must express that I'd have loved to have a feminist book club at my school!

I did not expect to read this all in one sitting. Every time I read one of Katie’s books, I just think to myself: gosh dang I wish it were longer. I need to know more. I want to know more.
Anyway. Badass main character. Swoon worthy love interest. Lots of drama. What a win!

Now there's nothing inherently wrong about this book, but one think just bugged me about it: It was just too easy.
It felt like the author just collected all feminist manifestos she could find on the internet (all valid ofc) and then tried to put them all at once in a fictional empowering book. And really, no quote from @feminist gets left out.
I feel like this book would have been just so much more interesting if instead of straight up telling you its message every second page, showed you different feminist ideas trough for example character development. If the character basically gets their lesson of the story by page 20 and writes a whole article on it, there's not much to interpret there.
