I'm glad I read this graphic novel because it meant discovering it contains 1) a fun sci-fi/action/adventure/conspiracy storyline; 2) a cute interracial romance; 3) snazzy art; and 4) a scene where a character wakes from a wet dream and washes the come out of his shorts. Uh...guess what I'll be moving from the Junior Readers to the Young Adult section first thing tomorrow morning?

I thought this was pretty entertaining, but I always think graphic novels are too short and end too soon. I could have used some more. The drawings were well done and really catch the eye. Like I said though, I just wanted more.

I needed a few more books to complete my 2015 reading challenge. My 14-year old selected this graphic novel for me, from the library's YA section. It's weird. Faulty logic at times. Interesting tiny scenes that a young teen, boy or girl, could relate to, that would probably go unnoticed by younger readers. Do I recommend it? No.

A quick read with some nice character development. Nothing like starting a friendship to save your life!

Brain Camp is a quick read with nice illustration. It was nice to see the two protagonists who started off disliking each other becoming good friends and solve the mystery of their camp. The story is a little scary and great graphic novel for a junior reading level

I enjoyed the art, but the dialogue and story were a bit rough. Tweens would probably enjoy this story of first love/camp, if they also enjoy sci fi.

I would not recommend and I'm so disappointed because I thought it would be so much more.
