Another fab book from McFadden, this one I felt i could see what was coming and what was going to happen from quite early in the book, I had pretty much figured it all out, but I do like the twist at the end.
We have 2 main POV in this book, firstly from Eve she a Math teacher at the local high school, along with her husband Nate who is the English teacher. Eve has a good life, but seems things are a little dull for her so she has a shoe fetish and also another secret.
The other POV is from Addie a 16 year old student who last year was involved in a scandal involving a student-teacher affair, but is it all true, to Eve nothing happened the teacher involved was just being nice while she was going through a rough time.
Addie can't be trusted, she lies and hurts peoples as well as destroy lives, well that's what everyone thinks. but nobody knows the real Addie but herself and nobody knows the secrets that could destroy her and others if the school found out.
The problem, Eve does find out the shocking truth and its alot more of a problem then Eve thought it was, but Addie will do anything to keep her quiet.
This may of been a but predictable for me, but I still really enjoyed all the little twists and turns that went about, and also that last chapter OH MY GOSH, did not see that coming!
