Veel te modern door alle technologie die beschreven wordt. Vind het absoluut niet overeenkomen met Wuthering Heights van Brontë.

A collection of short stories all well written and interesting.
I'm a of Wuthering Heights and was happy to read this book as I think that the different writer were able to recreate the spirit of the book.
Recommended!
Many thanks to the publisher and Edelweiss for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

I Am Heathcliff is a collection of 16 short stories curated by @katemossewriter in honour of Emily Brontë's 200th birthday on 30th July. Each story is based, some more loosely than others, on Brontë's 1847 classic, Wuthering Heights.
I've never really considered myself to be a great fan of Wuthering Heights, I think dissecting it in school removed any pleasure from it, but I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of stories. Each takes a different look at the characters and overall plot of Wuthering Heights and translates it for today's reader. It was really interesting to read the takes of so many well known authors on such an iconic story.
Thank you so much to @boroughpress for sending me a free copy of I Am Heathcliff!

This is a collection of sixteen short stories all written by different authors and all inspired in some way by Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights. If you follow me on GoodReads then you'll know that I was a hair's breadth away from not-finishing this book because I was not enjoying it. Then came Thicker Than Blood by Erin Kelly and the collection was saved. After that, there were some other great stories, like The Howling Girl and Heathcliffs I Have Known, but for the most part, the stories felt inconsequential. With short story collections, I tend to rate each one and work out the average and with an average of 2.8, this one just about scraped three stars. I can't say that I would recommend it as a collection especially if you really love the source material.
