A hilarious and fun book about a girl going to live on Olympus with her very sparkly dad and finding out that gods and goddesses are real, and oh yes, her dad is like the boss. I had tons of fun reading this one, especially when Medusa made her way in. But the other parts were fun as well, see Karen get used to the whole new situation, learn about gods/goddesses (I would have been very sus from the start given EVERYONE has a name like in mythology ), learn new things at school and get used to the school itself (it is such a maze), and more. I loved Zed, he was just so sparkly and funny. Though I wish he had talked to Karen before she found out the truth via her friends. Come on dude.
Loved seeing Medusa's backstory and I love seeing Karen help her out.
Great art!
I definitely want more! Especially with THAT ending.

Gonna just throw a 2.5 at this xD It's a really cute little middle grade comic, and I cannot say that I won't read on.

It has some concepts I really like, such as gods being reborn because, like, yeah, makes sense, keeps life entertaining, right? Dunno about having to go to school every new life, but you get to feel new and not, like, tired of living forever.

I will admit, it was really hard to see some of the gods act how they did, but that's the fault of PJO, not the comic itself.

However... The comic really doesn't expect the readers to know anything about Greek myths. Like... The villain of the story is painfully obvious. And considering the fact one of the friends is goddess of wisdom, the fact she didn't instantly know... I dunno. I will admit, I cringed a lot reading this.

But I am also a 24-year-old dragon, and I cannot say a 9 year old wouldn't have eaten this up 100% xD I think MG should be enjoyable by all, but this may be a case where it needs to just stay for its demographics. Still cute, though, so, like, again, dunno if I'll read on. Also, the solution to the villain was super cute to me, even if it was painfully like something I would see in my niece's shows from Nick Jr / Disney Jr.

Maybe that's why I'm so okay with how weird and cringey this is. I have been over exposed to PJ Masks xD

It’s sort of a knock off of Percy Jackson

I can totally see why people would rate this one poorly but personally, I found it so much fun!

I loved this version of Zeus who just loves his daughter and is super oblivious. He actually reminds me of Tamaki from [b:Ouran High School Host Club, Vol. 1|1087204|Ouran High School Host Club, Vol. 1 (Ouran High School Host Club, #1)|Bisco Hatori|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1388328993l/1087204._SY75_.jpg|2192688] oddly enough. I really liked the other goddesses and seeing them in this middle school era. Sure the explanation for them being teens was kinda weak, but it's still fun.

Super fun graphic for kids super into Greek mythology.
