Ok, first if you try to have the style of Conan Doyle, but I think it is in the middle of the book where the interesting thing begins, the adventure itself.
I cared about the characters, but not so much that I became fond of them.
It's been a long time since I read mystery books that took me so long. And college takes a lot out of that. 4 out of 5 stars

I've always wondered if books like this one fall under the "fan fiction" category?

Anyway, here you get to follow Sherlock's brother through some international intrigue. An ok story and really just worth reading to flesh out some of Doyle's secondary characters.

Mystery buffs will dig it the most.
