Novella to get a glimpse into the Alpha & Omega series before beginning. It was great for a novella. Moved quick, got a lot of information in a few pages without feeling overloaded and rushed. Has me interested in reading the series. I may be biased because I like werewolves/shifters the most. I like that there seem to be slight difference then the typical wolf lore. I am really excited to start reading the first full length in the series.

Fabulous. The story that turned me on to the Mercyverse.
This one is a prequel to the Alpha & Omega series and takes place during Moon Called, the first in the Mercy Thompson series.
Since both series intertwine, I consider "Alpha & Omega" (the short story) as 1.1 in the overall Mercyverse.
