This one was really wordy and hard to get through, which, bummer, because premise was interesting.

“Just another frakking day in Morganville.”

I love these shorts. The are prefect for a little Morgainville fix.

And having Michael and Eve back to normal is wonderful. I love it!

And Yikes, somehow I think we'll see Jeremy again.....

Loved this story, of seeing these two now that they're married, and this mission that they've been sent on was a great read!

Just okay for me, nothing really special about this novella, but it wasn’t awful either.

Can I get a ‘hell yeah’ for one of the better short stories we are given?

So the stories we are given for each of the vampires are relatively dull, giving us hardly anything. The Shane stories aren’t that great either (although that mostly mirrors my feelings towards Shane). Yet the Eve stories… yeah, we need more Eve stories.

This is a dark tale, detailing a very unique event. In truth this could have made a book, there was so much potential for what could have happened.

Should have been longer, but still one of the best short stories we are given.

I actually read this in 2012, but as it's a short story I read online and not full length book, I don't want it counting towards my Goodreads Reading Challenge.

Once again, my problem with the novellas in this series is that I want MORE! But they are still so good. The author does a very good job of getting the information told in a quick manner but that doesn't feel rushed. This short is about Eve and Michael and an errand they run for Amelie...it takes them OUT of Morganville, which is always interesting because we don't see it often. It also introduces a new vampire and if the "hinting" in this story is correct, we may be seeing some more of him. It also shows us once again how cute of a couple Eve and Michael are.
