I liked it, but not as much as Stiff. My review is here.

Fun and fascinating exploration of the science of sex. Roach writes, as usual, with verve and humor, which made this book a blast to read. I say this despite the fact that there are many discussions of bizarre and unpleasant medical problems herein, and as usual when learning about anything of that sort, I tend to walk away from my reading convinced I have all of them. (Does it matter that I do not have a penis? No. I am sure I have every possible penis disease.)

Roach kind of loses her focus toward the end—I’m not sure what her overall point was supposed to be; it’s more like “Some interesting facts about sex: let me show you them.” Which means this book doesn’t attain any depth beyond being interesting and educational. But you know? That’s okay.

Mary Roach's style is unimitable and always an interesting romp. Explores not only sex but also gender, physiology, and lots of stuff in between.

Interesting! Backed up with enough research to sound legitimate, but not too much to bog it down. The humour was on target, and not too annoying or flippant. I learned a few things, laughed a little, and was motivated to keep reading. All in all, time well spent.

A book that looks into scientific research studies and experiments about sex throughout the years. Written with delightful wit and humor, this book was both informative as well as entertaining and at times, stomach churning too.

A family friend recommended this book, and I went into it thinking that it would just be a regurgitation of the usual "sex ed" topics. NOPE. This book is one of the funniest, most fascinating non-fiction works I've ever read. I was laughing on every page, and learned so so much about the history of sex research. Will be recommending this to others lol
