I honestly decided to read this book so I wouldn’t get so tired from reading a lot of mysteries / thrillers but honestly that’s all I want to read now because I just found this book to be slow. It is also a book that I’ve been wanting to watch but hopefully it is a more eventful movie

While I was reading this all I could think of was Last Chance Harvey, a movie I adore starring Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson. While the stories aren't identical, there was enough of a similarity that I kept thinking about how much I enjoyed that movie, and how this was kind of a pale comparison. Still, it was a light and fluffy read, and sometimes I just really need that.

this was pretty good. it was a fast read. Hadley manage to learn a lot when she goes to her father's wedding in london. She learned that her hate for her father was a front in dealing with her own feelings. so i am glad that she found oliver.

A rather beautiful contemporary YA love story. Just the right length. Easy to sink into.
The use of the present tense irked me, as it always does in books, but most of the time I was able to get lost in it and not be consciously bothered... yeah, most of the time.

I first heard about the book from a trailer for an upcoming Netflix adaptation. Will the movie be good? We shall see. But I quite enjoyed the book.

Esta lectura es como el chocolate: es adictivo, muy dulce y te deja sintiéndote simplemente feliz.
Después de perder su vuelo y estando en un completo mal humor, Hadley conoce a este chico, Oliver, quien es raramente atractivo y es dueño de una personalidad devastadora. Y ¿adivinen qué? ¡Están en el mismo vuelo!
Hadly está molesta con su padre por dejarlas a ella y a su madre. Ella es un tanto voluble pero es también adorable y realista, es fácil encariñarse con su personaje. Lo mismo pasa con Oliver. Él tiene esta cualidad que te hace sentirte cómoda con él y que hace que sea muy fácil de amarlo. Puedo entender completamente los sentimientos de Hadley hacia él. El romance entre ellos era muy sencillo, pero de alguna manera encantador. Fue escrito a la perfección sin ser excesivo o cursi.
¿Sabías que dos personas que se encuentran por lo menos tres veces en menos de veinticuatro horas tienen un noventa y ocho por ciento más de probabilidades de volver a encontrarse?
La historia es una montaña rusa llena de altibajos, temores y alegrías. Hay algo más profundo que una simple historia de amor, también se trata de la familia uniéndose.
Las partes con Hadley y su familia fueron muy dolorosas para mi. Y mientras que los sentimientos de Hadley cambiaban hacia su padre, no podía dejar de estar enojada con él. Ese hombre fue tan egoísta. No había nada que lo justificara y mi corazón sufría por Hadley y su madre. Asimismo la historia del padre de Oliver fue conmovedora, creo que en esa parte llore ¿pueden creerlo? Hace tanto no lloraba con un libro.
Y es posible, que este libro tenga uno de los mejores finales abiertos que he leído.
