A powerful and fun twist to a classic tale! It's a very dynamic rendition of Little Red Riding Hood with a peaceful ending. A book that older children and younger children will enjoy.

Reviewed from a library copy.

I loved everything about this: Santat's art was great, the limerick structure of the poetry was funny and catchy, and the kick-butt ninja Red Riding Hood and Grandma were the best!

I love rhyming books where the meter is so spot-on, you can't wait to read it aloud. My martial arts kids will gobble up this book, and it'll be fun to compare/contrast with a more traditional version of Red Riding Hood. Plus, girl power!

Another fractured fairy tale. I love the girl power in this book. Little Red and Granny don't need any help from some woodsman. They can kick this big bad wolf all by themselves. This one was a HUGE hit at my preschool storytime.
