Bryan Lee O'Malley could be a 45 year-old but he sure knows how to capture the average teenage girl experience

this series is very fun and whimsical and the art is very good. The fight scenes are very epic but Scott is a bit creepy. seeing Knives be so torn up about Scott doesn't feel good. I was glad Scott broke up with her but I'm not pleased Knives is dating another 20 something. It was cool seeing her fight though and Knives is very fun. Also the ableist language in this book aged very poorly.

Funny, sweet, and I feel like an anime character after I read them.

“bread makes you fat??”

It's been awhile since I've been in this world, and it reminded me how much I loved it! The characters and all their interactions are just fantastic; I really loved the random 'Cooking With Stephen' segment. This series is also giving me a different perspective on the characters, especially Kim. What a great follow up, can't wait to read volume 3!
