Strong writing and hot sex scenes with a bit of sub/dom kink. An Asian male lead matched with an African-American female lead. Not as much time spent on the con/heist scenes, though, in comparison to the amount of sex. Insta-love, via insta-lust, due to the short (novella) length.

The heroine absolutely makes this contemporary erotic romance; she knows who she is and what she does and has no issues with any of it, although she is starting to feel a little... burned out? Bored? The hero is a great counterpart - he falls for her instantly but he's drawn to her power/confidence rather than compelled to challenge it, and the ending is fantastic; they're in a relationship of equals despite the beginning cat/mouse element of scammer/mark.

Okay, so this was so not what I expected at all. The second chapter just came out of no where and I was confused about what I was reading. However after researching the author I realised I should have expected this.
I enjoyed this book, despite it not being my usual type of read, it was short, fast and easy, and very very spicey!

I Loved this Short and sexy.
To see Cloe a 5'10 black woman confident in her own skin and owning the room while scamming people; that was pleasing to all my senses.
And yes the sex scenes are freaking hot! I recommend this for a quick read.
