Very different from the first book but in a cohesive way. While there was a “quest” in the first book, it wasn’t the focus. In this book, the quest was a big focus. I loved the treasure hunter vibes. From my own culture, the climax was very Indiana Jones, but better

I liked more than the first book. A lot of bad things happen to the main characters, which I surprisingly appreciated. However, there were some plot points that I think I missed bc a few times I was like “wait since when was this the mission?”. But it was good

This sequel was a bit more twisty and turny than its predecessor, but I did enjoy it overall. It was fun to live in a world that is based in a non-Western culture/mythology, plus there were heists, intrigue, and puzzles to solve!
