This book captured my attention wholly and completely. It is one of my favourite books now and I’d happily read it all again, and likely some day I will. Tartt’s writing is incredible and you find yourself constantly wondering what is real and what isn’t. While I tend to ignore most “Booktok” recommendations, this is one I am incredibly glad I decided to give a shot.

DNF on page 221. Don’t get the hype with this at all - reminded me of Bunny by Mona Awad but just weird and so slow. Don’t care for any of the characters and the plot made no sense. Read on Wikipedia what happens at the end I’m just thinking is that it? 600 pages for that?
