Granted, this is intended for a younger audience, but, personally, I, as an adult, loved it. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is the last book in the series, so, don't read it until you have read all the others, as it will not make sense. This story is told from Jordan's viewpoint, and he learns a lot in it (don't want to say too much, as it will be a spoiler). Fast-paced, fun, and not just for tween and teens! Try reading the whole series!

Like I mentioned in my review for book seven of this series, I really don't feel like this story was necessary since book seven really tied up all the main plot lines. That being said, this was a rather enjoyable epilogue of sorts to the rest of the series that did explain a couple of the time paradoxes left in the last book. The new character for this book was interesting and I enjoyed them hopping around the future for various bits and also all the stuff surrounding Sam Chase. The villain was a bit weak, IMO, not because he wasn't intimidating, but that for as much as the book was trying to set him up as the Big Bad of the series, given that none of the other books in the series mentioned him, he seemed to be a bit awkwardly inserted at the end here. Most of my issues with this book would be resolved if it had seemed to be set up more, as well as if there were still main plot lines that needed to be continued here, instead of just being resolved in the last one. Despite my issues with this book however, this was a fun read and a fair conclusion to this eight books series.

Rating: 3.5 Stars (Good).

In the first 7 books in this series, Jonah was the main character and narrator. This book switched to Jordan which really threw me off. I can see why it got switched and it did make sense with the story, but it really felt weird to me. That was the biggest reason why this book was a 3 star read for me.
The overall story was ok. I like how most of it took place in the future when all the others took place in the past. How can you have a series of time travel books and only have the characters go to the past and not the future?
Again, I feel like at the end everything was explained and it was a little muddy and confusing to follow. I may have been able to follow it better if I had read a physical copy instead of an audiobook, but it really just confused me even more. There were a lot of twists in this one and it kind of felt like too much.
The ending was a nice wrap up where everything could either be ended, or there could be a spin off series or something about Kevin which was kind of fun.

In this eighth and final book in The Missing series, we see the results of the blended dimensions from book seven. It is imperative that you have read that one before reading Redeemed -- in fact you might not want to read this review if you haven't. This story is told from Jordan's point of view, as he suddenly learns of Jonah's existence as well as the time travel adventures of the first seven books. Starting moments after Revealed ends, their parents and Angela are still teenagers. Jordan, Jonah, and Katherine set off on one final adventure through time to return their parents to their right ages. Unfortunately, this involves tracking down their arch-enemy Second Chance. What they learn about Second as well as Gary and Hodge will stun the reader. Once again, Haddix has crafted an adventure-packed novel full of unexpected twists. A must-read for fans of the series. It will not make sense without having read the others. Recommended for grades 4-8.

I'm excited to read this.

I'd like to thank my middle school library for having the first book (Found), that I looked at and passed over at that time because it didn't sound like *me*. And now, here I am, 5 years later, with the last book soon to be in my hands (in 8 months).

May this last journey be ever so sweet.

AFTER READING REVIEW.
My head's in a spin. I'll probably write an actual review later (maybe, maybe not, those who've read the other books just need to read the final closing, which I that was absolutely great), but all I can say is that I really recommend this series.
ALSO, Haddix, I don't mind an after epilogue showing Kevin all grown up with his older siblings finding about his alternate existences....
