Does not make her a very likeable character. She has a past and a mystery involving a tarot card. It is made to be too secretive or confusing. Who hates whom and why? It is all a question and not a very interesting one so... I ended up finishing only because it was short.

A hidden place of world Lobo norte where every every kind of supernatural species came and to get rid of the hormones and anger they have place to fight and enjoy and most interesting is that they have gangs for that but there is one issue that place is run by devil , so they want a girl who hold a bar because she has something they want and she is not just bar tender she is more than that as a strip club she run to tease and please her customer. But devil and his card came to her, and he order silver needle and werewolves to get a girl but werewolves alpha second in command fall for her and she fall for him later when things go out of control she killed the werewolves alpha and now she is in search of tarot deck total 77 cards to stop the prophecy from getting fulfilled and death

Pretty good.

Pretty good, a bit slow in a couple of spots but picks up quickly. Quick read. Cliff-hanger from the edge of hell.

Strong advisory regarding violence and sex outside the boundaries of a traditional steamy romance. The story line includes a dusty, forgotten town near the border, a stripper named Ofelia, a biker named Trouble, drugs, werewolves, witches, fight club-style violence, and the occult. I am not shocked by much but some of the passages in this book raised my eyebrows up to my hairline. Ofelia doesn't see a way out of the dark, brutal life she's living, but her connection with Trouble gives her hope. If you liked the True Blood TV series (I did), this book series might appeal to you.

Well colour me intrigued. this was an instafreebie find and I dug it. it didn't give a whole lot of answers, but it teased with flickers of knowledge.

It was ok although not particularly my cup of tea at the moment. It was a 5.5 hour audiobook with entirely too much erotica. It was grim/dark which I didn't mind so much, and the bdsm absolutely didn't bother me but MaleDom/femsub isn't my preferred flavor of BDSM. Over and above the BDSM the story was full of abusive relationships and codependency and that sort of thing stopped being quality drama for me a long time ago. The long arc, which gets pretty much laid out at the end, is interesting but I think the story tries too hard to be edgy and falls on a lot of abuse tropes to do it.

It was only "ok" for me.
