I love the friendship between Jess and Leslie. I love that art and music and imagination are important in their lives. I love how they are both guided by kindness and compassion, Leslie with Janice and Jess with May Belle.

This was a good read. I read this when I was a lot younger and I have seen the movie. I knew how the story was going to end, however I still cry. The death of Leslie was hard to read. There was a few parts in the book that I wasn’t a big fan of. There were some parts that were funny and other spots that made me cry. There are some good lessons in Bridge to Terabithia. The biggest thing being about grief and loss. Everyone, grieves at a different pace and in a different way.

It's a cute story with a sad ending but I don't understand why it is as popular as it is. It's a honestly not that exciting and is nothing more than cute.

I couldn't put this down. I don't even have words, but I highly reccomend. It's such an emotional and timeless and BEAUTIFUL story, and I think it's one of those books that everyone needs to read. It's simple and sweet and the characters just leap off the page, even if a certain music teacher seems... questionable. But that's totally beside the point. A wonderful story, read it now. :)

The story of regular life for a family and a new neighboring family. The main character and the daughter of the new family become friends and invent a fantsay or magical land as a place only they can escape to. It's a fine children's book with an element of adventure and fantasy to it, but I didn't like the way the ending played out. One of the characters dies and forsome reason everyone is far too quick to return to normal life, almost as though they're erasing the character's existence, even by their own family.
