A brilliant, thought-provoking analysis of what’s wrong with the world, including observations that I wish everyone in our culture could read and learn from, interlaced with a pretty entertaining action movie. But because each rant is 12% too long, and some of the Internet posts are so annoying that you have to let your eyes glaze as you skim them, I can’t recommend or push this book on anyone. Frustrating. If I were king I’d ask the author and their editor to take another crack at it. I am not king.

A SOLID 3.5/5. The book was a really fun take on social media and how it influences our thoughts and relationships and emotions. As a millennial, it was entertaining to read the use of events that we experienced first hand in the book. I felt that the arguments and discussions between the main character went on a little too long and sometimes I felt like the plot got a little lost in the chaos so to speak. But it moved fast, I laughed out loud, and I was able to really think about how my own social media use influences certain aspects of my life. Overall, a good read!
