If you ever get to feeling too cheerful and optimistic, this is the book to read to bring you back to depression. These are some dark stories. The worldview depicted here is bleak at best.

More a short story collection than a unified story. "Ashes and Honey" was my favorite, and I appreciated the

John Constantine stories tend to span the whole wheelhouse of horror, from sensationalist splatter-punk to artistic interpretations of man's monstrous nature/the nature of fear itself. This volume collects a good array, and anyone looking for a quick horror read will likely find at least one of the stories holds appeal.

Constantine stories are weird. Very very weird. I love the movie and I loved parts of a different Constantine book so I took this up. All I can really say is that it's a weird character with weird stories. This book didn't put me off Constantine though, which I guess is a good thing. But I'm not going to immediately go out an pick up another Constantine graphic novel. I need time.

If you're looking for lots of demons and magic, this isn't the collection for you. But, the stories are weird and psychological. Also, you get a decent sense of who Constantine is.
