"Surely this is a gift greater than any other, to be able to
enjoy the world so openly, without apology." —Antigone sur Aela
Screaming, crying, throwing up.
I really really hate Lee, especially when he seeks comfort towards Crissa, also when he admits he care for Annie but still give Crissa more attention. Like what the hell did you just do Leo!?!??! It makes me resent Crissa's character too by the way.
Antigone, well is not that kind of baddass character but still likeable. The reason why I am rooting for her pov is just Aela moments lol.
The dragon scene is supposed to be thrilling or giving us a nerve-wrecking. It is just feel like a mediocore dragon fight-scene.
And eventho the world building could be described better, it was all payed off with the writter's writing style.
Overall, I still wanted to read this series until its final installment. And will be rooting for Annie and Lee relationship development in the next book!

Breezy. Dragon riders and politics. Nicely done. Life after a revolution. YA romance. Brilliant side characters.
