I absolutely love everything Darynda Jones writes. She has an awesome balance between humor and action. That being said, I will say I was a little surprised at the ending. I won't go into details because I hate when people give spoilers, but I was caught off guard. Still trying to decide if that's a good or bad thing. :)

I loved this book and the fact that it was very age appropriate. So often with YA book I think WOW no way I would let my kid read this! That was not the case with this book. I applaud the author for that.

Loved this teen paranormal series. I started with her adult version of this premise.

This started off strong - I actually really liked the boarding school scenes and the new characters. I was a bit underwhelmed by the resolution though. Saying that, will definitely be checking out some of the author's other works! And the narrator - she was just fabulous :)

Not sure why some people didn’t like the end of this book. I loved it. And there was one person who didn’t think there was enough of Jared our favorite Angel is Death, I thought he was nicely represented. I mean, after all, this was more her story than his.

It was an okay series, I mean I read all three. (this one was audio read)

But the type of ending is just not something I'm a fan of, even when it comes to movies/tv.

After creating so much excitement in the previous novels, I thought the ending would be much more amazing. But it turned out to be too disappointing.
Two stars for the characters I fell in love with.
