I enjoyed this a lot! Very sweet and well written story, I think it covered so many relevant and important topics in a very approachable and straightforward way, without making anything a huge deal. I liked that aspect of it, I loved Liz’s relationship with her family and friends, the romance is on the back burner, barely spoken about. For me this was a little young as a YA, but I definitely recommend!

If I could give this book 6 stars I would. Beautifully written, and Liz and Amanda are absolutely adorable! The characters took my breath away, it was like I was in the room with them!

It was a good reading moment, the environment, her life, felt raw and real, I enjoyed and recomend this book to anyone, spetially so that the reader can be able to put themselves in her shoes, how life, is not only a challenge, but people also can be challenging in the worst way. I enjoyed how a diferent scenario made her change and grow to develop her true self. If you dont like violence but still would like to read books and support black authors grab this one ^^ also about a very strong and independent young woman.

✨ The Title/Cover Draw:
The cover is just adorable. Plus the buzz about this book just drew me to it. And I am glad I did read it.
