This book challenged put the finger on quite some things that I had been unable to put my finger on. It helped broaden *and* deepen my thinking about (re)productive work on both a micro- and macro scale.

I really liked a lot of what this had to say about the nature of "post work" and how that doesn't exist, and a lot of the systems and technologies used to push individualized instead of collective work that were described gave me a deeper understanding of how capitalism permeates every aspect of American society. However, I found myself getting distracted from this book a lot. Chapter 2 was the most interesting for me and though it did have moments of interest throughout there were also sections that I found quite boring.

This is very comprehensive but it's such a drab read. It's absolutely fine for someone who already has an interest in post-work imagination but it's definitely not swaying a skeptic.
