This book had me on the edge of my seat! For the first time in a while I cried at a book and was genuinely cheering at every sweet moment. The characters were awesome and unbelievably sweet, especially the dads. I really liked how author explored the relationships with their parents, friends, etc. and it really added to the story.

I wish that Justin had some of his own friends in the book because it kinda seemed like he didn't since they were never mentioned. I also thought the beginning was kinda slow but the rest of the book had me gripping my heart with fear, sadness, and joy. Really good overall, but I won't be reading the next book (probably) because the Colton/Justin's dad situation is a little too weird for me too enjoy lol

Cannot recommend reading. TW:
it wasn’t a badly written book, but I’m tired of forced outing romances and it also had a horrific and violent hate crime perpetrated against the outed person that was not processed at all. also where did Wes’ job go? Or the credit card ballet debt?? Why did the teammates and coach act so terribly at first and then switcharoo to incredibly supportive after he nearly died from the hate crime?

A sweet and spicy insta-love with a closeted jock and a secret that comes crashing down. If only real life could have a HEA that involves out pro sports players.
