This is top tier comic book writing. Jim Starlin's Thanos is amazing to follow. Especially after having watched Infinity War and Endgame and seeing how certain things were based off elements from his quest tracking down the stones makes this even more fun to read.

A fantastic story. With Thanos being the current biggest threat in the MCU, I wanted to learn more about him. I have began to read comics as of late, and so I decided to begin reading the Infinity Gauntlet storyline. But first I wanted to read this--the prequel to the Infinity Gauntlet. And I was not disappointed. Thanos is a great character, one who makes you grimace and shiver. Silver Surfer was great, and while I knew very little about him going in, I am now interested in reading more of his stories. Drax the Destroyer was hilarious and a stellar addition to the cast of this book (which features cameos from several great, classic characters), and while his design has changed since the days in which this was written, his personality is very similar to how it is now in both the comics and the MCU. This is a fantastic addition to my collection, and I cannot wait to read more Marvel stories.
