Couldn't get into this as much as the first one, I think mostly because the audiobook narration switched from Stephen Fry to Martin Freeman, which I didn't enjoy as much. I got into the story more in the second half!

A wonderful distraction. I love Riddell's illustrations, they really bring Adams's ideas to life.

This book was really more of a 3 and a half stars, but I didn't feel it deserved a 3. This book was really hard to follow, and I didn't understand the ending at all. It was still written really well, but I had a harder time following it than the first book. I didn't like how the group got separated, which just added to the confusion because there would be multiple chapters talking about a certain characters experience, and then you would switch back to the other characters chapter and have to remember what happens when you last left the other characters. Over all, I thought it was a really good book, but there were some things that bothered me a bit.

Didn't enjoy it quite as much as the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, but it was still great.

i love this series so much. its funny and it makes sense but it somehow also blatantly criticises about everything about our world while also not saying anything at all. idk its just one of my favourite series
