I love the double mystery involved in this book! At first I was like why is the mystery wrapping up so quickly in an expected way and it led to something even better! I loved the butler story line and that his name was Martin, like the one in the Parent Trap, although only his name is the same not the behavior in the story. I really like that these books have a couple of basic morals to the story that teach children how to behave/how to talk about their feelings instead of acting out in an irrational way like Patty in this book in particular. I enjoyed that at the end of the book she told her great grandmother about her feeling that she wanted to spend more time with her cat than her great granddaughter and they talked it out a bit and agreed to spend more time together. It's a nice quick read and really enjoyable.
