Everytime I picked up the book, I laughed. Everytime I put it down, I wanted to pick it back up again.

When I finished 'An Unseen Current', I enjoyed it but was glad it was a standalone book because there were 2 things I didn't like. The first is a relationship thing ~ which continued and I warmed up and trust the author in that regard. Secondly, Chapter Titles have a way of being spoilers which I don't like. It continued in book 2 but I still give it a full 5 stars because I throughly enjoyed it and didn't want it to end. Always love reading this author and can't wait for her next book!

I've now read two books by Bethany Maines and have been thoroughly entertained by both. The two that I have read are just this side of being called cozys. Ms Maines books remind me a lot of Bill Noel's Folly Island mysteries; just on the other side of the country and with a female protagonist.
My only complaint are the grammatical errors that a competent proof reader would not have missed.
I think I'll go ahead and buy the third (and so far, final) book in the series today.

Fun, funny, mystery novel. I laughed quite a few times.
