I am so glad we got Zara and Brad's story! It is a great addition to the series! I love how Annah added real-life hardships to this novella. She continues to be one of my favorite authors!

Zara and Brad's relationship is so fun! I love how Brad comforted Zara after she got the phone call with hard news and offered to go home with her for Christmas! He is always doing little things that mean a lot to Zara!

Content Warning:
-Divorce of parents
*This is a clean closed-door contemporary novella.

Ahh, I’m so happy we get to see Brad & Zara together!!

Is it short & quick? Yes. But also adorable. It is a bit more attraction based than the first book (The Love Audit), but it’s still super cute.

I love Brad and Zara! I'm so glad they got their own book in this series - their sweet friendship, he falls first, secret crush romance was just the light funny read I needed this week!

Reader’s Notes:

– this novella can be received as a free ebook when you sign-up for Annah’s newsletter or purchased as a physical book on Amazon

– this is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone

– this is told from Zara & Brad’s points of view

– there is an age gap of about 8 years between them

– most of the story revolves around the fact that Zara’s parents are separating/getting a divorce and the changes that will bring for Zara’s family/their traditions

Review:

Before I got to this novella, I read only First Taste & One Last Play so I don’t think I’ve officially met Brad & Zara at all (like I may have seen them in passing in these books but I don’t remember much). But even though I didn’t know them, I quickly got to know them in this story and I quite enjoyed their romance. It was short and sweet and I liked getting to know Callum & Lottie a bit more as it goes over their shared bachelor/bachelorette party that both Zara & Brad attend. I liked the cozy feeling of the story between Brad’s want to protect/care for Zara and the season in which their story takes place (a bit before Thanksgiving to a bit after it). I’m excited to hopefully catch up with the rest of the Sweet Peach series soon and read more about MJ’s brothers in the But He’s a Carter Brother series

What a fun and sweet novella! My first Annah Conwell book and I am a fan! I will definitely be reading the rest of her books. Zara and Brad were so sweet and their mutual pining for each other was so fun to see. I love that they were trying to hide it from each other but just couldn’t deny their feelings. With all what Zara was going through, seeing Brad be there for her and comfort her was so sweet. He had such a sweet heart. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series and read all the love stories.

Short and sweet. I have really enjoyed the rest of this series and have had this novella for a while so it was good to complete the series and get Brad and Zara’s story. They are a goofy, quirky pair.
