Ah middle school drama, the things 2020 will make you nostalgic for. I liked this follow-up but it felt rushed (much like middle school) & maybe over ambitious plot wise? It is possible I'm just grumps. Looking forward to book 3 though!

I enjoyed this. Don’t remember anything about the first one really, but got at least some of the callbacks. I think I probably appreciate this because I was in a band or three in high school too.

This is the kind of story that’s missing. This is so important! Loved it… can’t wait to read book 3… gonna order it now!

Bina is cool for being unsure of herself because that's a normal thing. Her friends kinda suck for stealing her song. But it's cool. I kept up with this because I like looking at characters with instruments. But hey, new band mates.

I love that the message of this one is it’s ok to be unsure of things.

I really enjoyed this one. The story's realistic and emotional, with great nuance and understanding of the characters. The colors are really soothing, of all adjectives to describe them, and go so well with the story. I was happy to visit with these characters again and am excited to put this one in the hands of the readers who wore our copy of All Summer Long out. Plus, all the music references are perfect, of course.
