Because Venom hasn’t featured as much in recent books in this series, I wasn’t exactly anticipating his book but I actually quite enjoyed it and in fact breezed through his and Holly’s story. It was great to see Holly’s journey of healing after witnessing her trauma in the earlier books in the series. I felt like the emotions of her reconciling with who she now is and Venom doing the same balanced the adventure and suspense elements of this book I did feel like the “bounty on Holly’s head” plot was a little weak and underdeveloped and really unnecessary, but otherwise I thought this was a fantastic addition to the series!
