Má to spád, má to různorodé propracované postavy, dokonce i náhled do životů lidí hned několika odlišných kultur. Zápletka má logickou pointu a navíc se to celé odehrává v Oxfordu.
Jo a chci ty kočičí brýle, ale už. ❤️

Enjoyed but didn't love this book. Gilda is hilarious, but a bit annoying.

The continued adventures of our favorite 14-year-old psychic investigator. Gilda manages a trip to London with her friend Wendy who is participating in an international piano competition. Once they arrive Wendy hears ghostly music, Gilda sees a ghost, and mysterious tarot cards begin to turn up. Could all of this be connected to the piano competition? Is Gilda's attraction to Julian, a cute English boy, distracting her from the investigation of a lifetime?

This is the best Gilda Joyce book, so it's a little unfortunate that it's the third in a trilogy. I doubt Jennifer Allison has lost too many readers along the way, though, because the first two books were pretty hot stuff themselves.

Can I just take a moment to talk about how much I love Gilda? Because I do. She reminds me of myself, except she's the person I wish I could be rather than the person I actually am. That is a little sad, given that she's a full decade younger than I am and yet she packs ten times the spice, but I'll get over it. Seriously, how awesome is it that she shows up as the page-turner for the piano competition wearing a floor-length evening gown, fishnets, a string of pearls, and old-fashioned lady gloves? YES! Gilda, you are my heroine.

Oh, and P.S., I can TOTALLY sympathize with Gilda for hanging all over Julian in this book. If I were her, I would have done the same thing. Spiky-haired boys with British accents, take note: all you have to do is knock at my door, and I am yours.
