It's interesting how carefully the complex plot and characters develop. It has a hidden similar story behind it and you can see how the two stories compare. It shows you how people with good intentions can easily become what they once hated. You gain a strong understanding of what George Orwell implied by what he wrote.

Well I thought this was an interesting read, but I feel like I need to read this again at some point.
Story was interesting but I was struggling to understand the different characters and the big picture to this story. Lets hope the 2nd time around it just clicks.

This book has really capture the best of today’s most countries in the world situation. For mine example, people who once been activists fighting for the others now mostly turned into the very person they had been once against of. At first they said they did everything for the sake of humanity (or in this book, the animality???) but at the end of the day they just wanted to put themselves first before the ones they supposedly need to look after. And sadly, just like most people nowadays who are too busy to survive in this harsh world to care about their rights, the animals at the farm too, still thinking that their current life is better than before and that they’re gonna have a peaceful life after they work hard.
Part of me wants to scream at Snowball to come for them and rescue the animals from the Napoleon’s army of pigs but the idea doesn’t sit well with the reality and I doubt Orwell would write something cheesy like that.
