I don't remember anything about it but I'm sure I read it ten years ago because of the Miley Cyrus movie.

Това ми беше първата книга на автора и останах изненадана от лекотата на писане. Тъжна история, която те кара да заплачеш заедно с героите и въпреки скептицизма ми, успя да ме докосне.

I could not get into this book. I think my favorite parts to read were the interactions
Spoiler between Ronnie and Will, and the end between Ronnie and her father
, everything else I felt like I was forcing myself to read. The book was good and I can understand why so many people like it, but maybe it's just not for me.

yes, there was a happy ending at the end which made me very happy. all of the characters were likable. i felt like i could related to ronnie, which is a good thing. i can't believe her mom let think that her father was the one who had the affair. i really didn't like her mother. she was a bitch. it made me wonder why she had an affair. i can't believe kim is marrying the guy. but anyways, very good. and i could see mself re-reading this book in the future. i might even watch the movie, even though it has miley cyrus in it.

This book was very different from what I normally read, and it was kind of heavy. However, I loved all of the different relationships that it showed and its view on friendship and family. Not saying that the story was perfect by any means, but the emotions were on point. Ty Nila!

{my thoughts} - I must confess I had watched the movie before reading the book. The movie was okayish I suppose. But the book I know I probably say this a lot was a thousand times better. The imagery the descriptions and everything - I really enjoyed it, I even enjoyed the parts that had made me cry - yes I am admitting to crying from reading a book that was built so vividly on emotions. It was well written and most certainly a book that I wouldn't mind reading again sometime. I honestly don't remember much about the movie other then it has the same story line and plot as the book. The book was sensational because I am able to vividly remember what I had read. It is a book that is about forgiveness, faith in God, faith in others, the ability to trust things with work out, growing up when your not quite ready, excepting responsibility for your actions, understanding that not everything is about you and that in the end its important to have a peace of mind and know that you did the best you could with the life God had given you.

I could probably say this every time I write one of these and strongly believe it to be true the BOOK is ALMOST always BETTER. There I said it.

{reason for reading} - I had watched the movie and wanted to read the book.

I loved this book. Not a summer romance like a Danny/Sandy thing. There were so many twists and turns, excellent characters and character development, and fabulous writing. Everything he wrote mattered and it all came together perfectly. I hear there's a movie out, so I'm going to watch it today. If it were a 5-star book, they would have selected someone like Ellen Page to play Ronnie. Miley Cyrus? Seriously. Why do they cast bubble gum singers as Spark's lead characters?

As always Nicholas Sparks never disappoints. Yes, I watched the movie first and loved it but the book lives up the movie as well. I loved every second of the book, it was touching and you get to know the characters even better then the movie, obviously! I’ve always loved Nicholas Sparks so this really wasn’t a surprise that I loved this book!
