They had me at Hunger Games. It was also similar to Maze Runner. As I read my mind was conjuring up creatures from Avatar. The story line is amazingly creative. It was so engaging I could not put it down.

The main character’s self-talk was somewhat cheesy at times. But I realized the necessity to convey the emotions and thoughts.

Excellent story. I highly recommend this trilogy.

This book was even more exciting than the 1st book. This book starts up exactly where the first one left off. They have landed on Omeyocan and Em must decide what to do next for the survival of her crew. There is some rivalry for leadership of their group and though food supplies are short Aramovsky opens up an additional husks that are discovered in the lower levels which puts their survival rate at critical.
While hunting for food Em and the others discover they are not alone. Will they befriend this alien-like creatures or do what Aramovsky says the gods want,....war.

"We are laughing, together. This is simple, natural. Why was there ever a need for violence, war and death?"

I need Alone. The ending of this book was like an ending that you would expect from this genre. Perfectly written, action packed and the character development was out of this world!!! If you haven't started this series, please do because I need to get people to experience this series! An easy 5 out of 5 stars for me! Can't wait for October to come around so I can get my hands on Alone!

I enjoyed this second book in this series...at least I think it is a series since the end hinted that there is more stories to come.

I love that you, as a reader, discover things along with the characters. Email is a very interesting character as are the others. They make you feel their emotions as they get angry of upset. The story flows well and has no slow parts to it.

I really enjoyed this book.

I really liked the progression of this book based on reading the previous book. I hope the next one is just as good, but am scared it will be problematic since the reader is different.
