Being a science teacher, I loved the occasional scientific asides in this book. Unfortunately, that was really the best part of the book. I felt like the Lost World was just kind of a repeat of Jurassic Park. The writing wasn't great and the language was terrible. (There was an excessive overuse of the F word in this book). It was a fun read for a scientist, but isn't a book I would recommend to anyone else.
