A fine second book, although this gets pretty heavy in tone as a lot of side characters die, but great progression of the main characters.

More exciting speed-growing
This was a fun read. I like Camilla, and I find it hilarious that a relative interfered exactly like Liz tried to run away from. There are some moral quandaries, but I believe that the situation they contributed to was just sped up with their actions, not just directly caused. The end of the book with Matt, Liz, and bunny obsessed Aster just running rifts is nice. The observers reactions and statements made me laugh. I am curious about the breathing down the neck that happened at an item evaluation. I'm really enjoying this series and I need more.

There was a chunk of this book that made me want to drop it. The bit with complaining teens. Thankfully, it ended and ended in a way that made me want to continue the series.
