I cannot believe that was a WHOLE ride from start to finish. I have no idea how to start this.

SpoilerI KNEW IT THE REASON WHY I DIDN'T CRY WITH LEO'S "DEATH" was because he is alive!!!! I'm so happy both he and Calypso, the isolated ones, found companionship with each other. Besides that, I like their chemistry.

I reckon Reyna and Nico were the highlights of this book and in the grand finale of the quest itself. Sorry Percy and Jason, but those two are my favourites. My emo son is finally with the sunshine boy!!!!!! My pure heart!!!

SpoilerThat scene with the gods finally restoring their identical crises and helping in mainland Greece was spectacularly written! Amazingly entertaining and heartfelt when the demigods were fighting alongside their godly parents.

Now I will miss this series. I will tremendously miss it during my rest period from this universe. But I am sure I cannot wait further in continuing with Trials of Apollo very soon! Fingers crossed with the library and no lockdowns this time!

I know some people who really didn't like this book- but I found it to be such a fitting, worthwhile and wonderful conclusion. It was so much more than I expected. I still loved HoH way more, but I'd say this was my second favorite. So much character development, so much reflection on the entire journey. It was like reflecting back on the last few years or something, I just adored the nostalgia factor it provided even though I read these books within months of each other.

I would like to first say I LOVED most of this book, so much new content added to the world that we as consumers of the series can apply to our personal theries and headcanons. My beef with this book lies not with the writing but with a personal preference, nothing against Rick Riordan. I just wish we could have seen more of Percy towards the end! I partially understand wanting to end off the series with the characters you began with but Percy and Annabeth are such important characters to the entirety of the HOO series, it feels so... uneventful to leave them out like that. Great book, but i'll never be able to get over the heartbreak I felt in reading it, so 4 stars but I loved the series!

A respectable end to the series. All the characters have my heart but Nico and Reyna’s friendship is the best thing ever.
Thank goodness this is a middle grade novel.
I kept waiting for the moment a main character would die. My YA and Adult books made me think the worst. I don’t even care how unrealistic it is that they all survived this book. I’m just happy.

As a book it was great but as the conclusion of a series it felt a bit rushed
While I did love getting to know these new characters I don’t think I will pickup this series again when re-reading PJO (maybe house of hades and mark of athena, those were great)
Still excited to try TOA!
