I enjoyed the premise and the style of this book, but a few of the dukes sexual proclivities aren't for me.
Specifically the his reaction to and discussions of Patience's breasts and her production of milk.
As I don't find that sexually intriguing, those scenes pulled me out of the story on the regular. I look forward to the next book moving on to another couple.

I very much enjoyed the narrator's choices for the audiobook.

This is a thoroughly enjoyable and interesting book. Well written and interesting, I love the world Vanessa Riley has brought to life - I’m most excited for book 2 and 3!

Bahni Turpin narrated this story beautifully.
