Matt Patterson delivers a gripping story about what he and his wife went through when their little girl was diagnosed with Downs. His humorous style lightens the heaviness of sorrow over the trials that little Emily endured. Her spirit remained true and she spread joy wherever she went.

I highly recommend this touching story to anyone who has watched a loved one suffer from Downs or Leukemia. You will be inspired and find hope through the reading of this story.

Even if you haven't experienced something like this yourself, you will turn the last page inspired by one beautiful little girl who touches the hearts of everyone who reads about her journey.

This is a really good story. Thank you to Matt for sharing his heartache and how he shared Emily's life with us. The way he described his grief was very similar to how I was feeling with the loss of two loved ones. I think I am a stronger person for reading this book. I highly recommend it to anyone even if they aren't struggling with grief, but especially if they are struggling with the loss of a loved one.

A must read book!

I highly recommend this book if you're parent or not! I loved everything about this book. Be prepared to have a box of tissues ready when reading this because you definitely will need them! Written from the heart!

I read this book before, but didn't really remember it.
All I can say is, make sure you read this with a Kleenex in hand.
This is a touching story, told with both humor and honesty, tears and vulnerability.

Very touching story about a special little girl who was only on this earth by for a short time, but she changed those who came in contact with her.

A story about a father's love and his faith in God.

It made me cry, but I am so glad I read it!
