I've been meaning to read this for about 8 or 9 years (it's one of the longest-standing books on my TBR) and I'm happy to report I FINALLY PICKED IT UP.
One of the main reasons I've put off reading this book is because I really like the TV show and I was worried that reading the book would somehow spoil my enjoyment of the show. But it didn't at all. In fact, if anything it made me appreciate the show even more because I realised how well they adapted it is and how faithful they interpreted some of the character traits.
The book is an action/adventure novel at heart but it's also something of a comedy. And I was surprised by this, I honestly wasn't expecting it to be as funny as it was, but there are some silly and witty moments that I enjoyed a lot.
I loved the four main characters, Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and d'Artagnan are some of my all-time favourite characters and I had such a good time reading about their battles, adventures, and just their friendship in general. As much as I disliked her (for things that she does in the novel), I also appreciate how Machiavellian and devious Milady is. She's terrible, but also...what a woman. There was a twist towards the end that doesn't happen in the show and I didn't see it coming at all so I was low-key shocked when it came to pass.
On the whole, this was a lot of fun and I had a great time reading it. The audio narration was also pretty good.
Content warnings for violence, murder, blood, alcohol addiction, infidelity, mentions of gambling, period-type sexism.

Poor d’Artagnan is going to go grey very early, it should really be called the Ten Musketeers, Lady de Winter is awesome, Athos gave the sickest burn of all time. 8.5/10.
Highlights: The interactions between the four friends, the surmounting court intrigue.
Recommended for: Swashbuckler enthusiasts, fans of the Fox and the Hound.
