I was quite surprised when this book got delivered, I wasn't expecting it until December. :) Oh well, I am delighted though, very much delighted actually!

I should really get the other (normal) books as well, I got one from the library, but that was the Dutch translated one, and it just didn't work for me. So I guess I will soon buy the English version from Amazon.

This book is chock–full of activities, facts, tests, experiments, and much much more. You will have a lot of fun trying them all out. I have tried out a few that didn't require me drawing/writing in the book (I just hate doing that, I find it a shame of the book to do it, but I might make some copies so I can try them out at least), and they were lots of fun, though I did notice one saying that one couldn't move a chair while sitting in it without touching anything, without help, um, I am not sure what magic chair you have, but if I sit in a swivel chair (as said) then I can move any way without touching anything. :P Just pump your legs, just like you would do on a swing.

There are activities that require physical things to be done, then there are drawings, write-ins, tests. I loved the variety. Often books will just focus on one activity, but this one just grabs them all and mix and matches them as the book continues.

I also loved that the book was split up in various parts. Each part delving deep in what is going on at that theme. From different planets, to what is happening on a shuttle, to mementos and space diaries.

1 thing I did notice was that (unless something happened that no one knows yet, with the exception of the writer) the constellation for Little Bear was wrong. Also that definitely was not a bear. More like a tiny dog. How do I know that the constellation is wrong? Because I learned (and I also just checked sites to be 100% sure) that Little Bear and Big Bear have a (as we Dutch call it) steelpannetje in them. Big Bear has a big one, Little Bear has a tinier one (and often a flipped one).

The art was also really nice, I love the style.

All in all, I would recommend this book to everyone. I am sure kids will love this one!
