Another excellent volume in the Scott Pilgrim series. It's nice to see characters like Kim and Knives and Ramona get more character development than the movie allotted them. A whole lot of foreshadowing going on, and the cliffhanger revealing the last ex was really good. I hope the sixth (and final) volume does the series justice with a proper conclusion.

I feel like this was the shortest volume in the series. Thus far this is the only installment where the movie kinda majorly deviated. They are both still rather entertaining.
This is one of the shorter volumes, and... Honestly it's not my favourite. A lot of people love this one, but it definitely falls a little flat. Most of the conflict it feels like we dealt with in Volume 4 is coming back for some reason, and it feels forced. I know the story needed to keep moving, but there's something slightly off about how things come up in this one. Somehow it feels like things were dredged up for the sake of it, which kind of feels like it defeats the purpose of "moving on" that was a lot of the books theme for the last few volumes.
