Ok, it's been... probably over a year since I read Scott Pilgrim #4. It took a little re-orienting to remember what was going on, but I got back in the groove pretty easily.

The book is a lot of fun, with giant robots, a complex love pentagon (or something like that) and great artwork.

My only problem is, I don't LIKE Scott Pilgrim all that much. He's kind of a jerkwad (as Shannon Hale might say). Ramona is being all weird and indecisive and non-explanatory, and Scott is just being Scott... and I find I have more actual sympathy for Kim Pine than anyone else.

Oh, and the cat is very entertaining.

I will be very interested to see how it all shakes down, because I can think of several ways it could, and I would actually kind of prefer a more non-traditional ending.

How fortunate for me, that by the time I got around to reading this, there's only 13 days until the final book comes out!

This is the fifth installment of this series and finds Scott and Ramona living together as both of their pasts appear to mess things up. So Scott has to try and control his own exs as well as two of Ramona's as well as get used to sharing his living space with his girlfriend. The illustrations are again nice and simple and let the story speak for itself.
