What a cute and fun story!

Hollis was so fun through out this book he truly was the definition of not caring what people think. He authentically himself and I loved that! He goes after what he wants and he has his eyes set on daddy cap!

Ford is recently single after splitting from his husband, he jumps on a dating app and connects with Hollis. Of
Course he’s got his reservations about this situation as Hollis is best friends with one of Fords colleagues, but of course that doesn’t stop Hollis from chasing after what he wants!

These two were so adorably stubborn together, always the take and push with Ford and Hollis was always there to break down his walls, they truly built a kind of friendship and understanding throughout this book and was so well built up from the texts messages and all the way till the end.

And those Spicy scenes were smoking, thought I was gonna be to call my own fire department!!

Can’t wait for the next of course very curious about it!

Cowboy Hollis has long had a crush on his best friend's boss, firefighter Captain Ford. However, Ford has always been off-limits—until now. As Ford going through a divorce,  signs up for the same dating app that Hollis uses. And Unbeknownst to Hollis, the attractive guy he starts talking to and flirting with is actually Ford.

But things heat up when they begin sharing intimate pictures and videos, and Ford mentions the firehouse. So, once Hollis realizes that his mystery man is Ford, he becomes determined to get him in his bed, or even against a tree—he just wants a taste. But Ford is just coming out of a marriage, and Hollis doesn’t do long-term relationships. Additionally, he knows he shouldn't be involved with his best friend's boss.

And as their conversations and hookups continue, they both begin to develop deeper feelings for each other. Just when things are getting serious, tragedy strikes.

And with minimal angst, plenty of spice, humorous moments, and a light-hearted vibe, I found this to be a delightful read and I am eager to explore more stories from the world of the Moore Men and would happily recommend this book to others.

My thanks to TAA. All thoughts expressed are my own. ☺️

4.5 STARS;

Hollis and Ford completely stole my heart.

We already knew Hollis as the flirty, carefree playboy from Finn, but this book gives him depth, growth, and the kind of swoony, magnetic romance that stops you in your tracks. When he meets a mysterious older man on a dating app, things start off hot and only get hotter. That man? Wolf Creek’s fire captain, Ford. Divorced. Brooding. Quietly intense. Total daddy energy.

Their chemistry is off-the-charts, both online and in person, but what really made this book shine was the emotional undercurrent. Hollis, who’s always avoided attachment, finally confronts the fear that no one ever stays. And Ford, fresh from a long relationship that slowly broke him, makes the brave choice to start over, and finds Hollis waiting.

With humor, vulnerability, flirty banter, spicy tension, and just the right amount of blush-worthy “Daddy” moments, this book was everything. Their dynamic felt real and raw, and watching them fall in love felt like a reward.
